Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Airport Westshore

Right by the airport, good for a early commute. Saves on traffic trying to get to the airport. Clean room, hot water was more like Luke warm, but still a good stay.

We have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years 1 star to 5 star. This is an excellent hotel. Staff is very personable and accommodating, rooms are good sized, great room and bathroom lighting, comfortable bed, nice linens and towels, large hi-def tv, good WiFi, water pressure in sink is good although sink drains slowly, quiet room considering proximity to airport, great airport shuttle drivers very accommodating, fantastic restaurant for breakfast and dinner (Actually I would make it a point to eat here even if I lived in the area), restaurant staff is friendly and hard working, good a/c, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator. Only negative is the shower. Shower floor is slippery, water pressure is extremely poor, no handle inside shower door, no grab bar making for a dangerous shower experience. Bottom line-I would gladly stay here again.

Property has an excellent location, especially to stay near one of the surgery centers close by; we were here to be close to BioSpine, also on Avion Park Drive. We stayed the night before and two nights after my friend's spinal surgery. The king room we had was clean, but the bed wasn't as firm as we'd have liked, and the pillows were rather flat. The staff was so kind and helpful. We enjoyed having the restaurant on property for both the convenience and the menu choices. Food was very good.

Stay date 11/14/2025. Staff were friendly and bar staff was outstanding. Lobby area recently remodeled and very nice. Daily parking fee of $12/day is something new. Garage access is convenient. Our room was nicely laid out, comfortable and appeared recently renovated. The shower was another story. Visible mold in the sealant and shower door track (see photos). Shower floor seemed a bit slippery indicating possibly something growing there as well. Bath sink was very slow. When checking out, desk person did ask how our stay was. We mentioned it was fine except for the mold and stopped up sink. The reply was, "yea, sorry about that". Did not seem to make any note about it and continued on script as to how we wanted to receive our bill.

Facility was nice, staff was great. Tile grout in shower on first stay needed a deep clean. Second stay a couple of days later, the room was very nice. The pillows could be better. Nice to have the bar and food options. We'll stay here again.

We stayed here one night because pur cruise was leaving from Tampa. They have a shuttle that will pick you up to and from the airport only. Its free. At the front desk they had other transport options to the cruise terminal. The Coastal restaurant and bar were also good and the staff were friendly and great. Nice place to have a meal after a long travel day.

Update: UPS says the boxes were delivered 4 days ago at this hotel but they are unable to find my boxes. Don’t know what happened but they say they don’t have them. Unfortunately, I can’t share any details about the property itself as my flights were canceled and I never had the chance to stay. That said, the level of customer service has been outstanding. I had shipped five boxes ahead of my arrival, and since I couldn’t make it, the front desk team went above and beyond to relabel everything and prepare them for pickup. I was in a real bind, and their kindness and efficiency made all the difference!

We have been coming to this hotel for the meeting rooms for over a year once a month. Bri has been our attendant the past couple of months and has truly been amazing! She has made sure we have everything we need and on time if not early. Thank you Bri for being an amazing asset to this hotel.
